It is a balmy 27 levels and I am strolling to the restaurant, the rhythmic sound of my footsteps accompanied by the night’s undulating refrain of the whistling frogs. With an audaciously informal gait, an iguana crosses my path just some toes away, pauses to eyeball me, and then scurries into the bushes.
